About Us

     A record holder and choreographer, Guru, Ashok Kumar is and exponent of Several Classical Dance forms. He has been trained by renowned Gurus which has seen him to become a grade ‘A” artist with, Dooradarshan, Indian National Broadcast and an empanelled artist under ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations)

     He had his initial training in Bharathanatyam from Karanataka Kalashree & Shantala Awardeee Guru. Smt.Radha Sridhar and Miss Banumathi. He pursued Kuchipudi from Karnataka Kalashree Guru. Smt. Sunanda Devi Kathak & Choreography from Karnataka Kalashree & Shantala Awardee Late Guru. Smt. Maya Rao at Natya Institute of Kathak and Choreography. Bangalore.

     Established Natyanjali School of Dance in the year 1986. Registered as Natyanjali Trust in 1997. As an artistic director of the school he has trained hundreds of students in the classical art forms of Bharathanatyam and Indian Folk Dances for the past 29 years.

       With the burning desire to inspire young minds and to introduce them to with the vast cultural heritage of Indian Dances, Ashok Kumar established Natyanjali School of Dance in the year 1986 (Regd, as Natyanjali Trust in the year 1997)

       Students at Natyanjali undergo intense training through regular contact classes, in both the practical and theoretical aspects of the subject, grooming them to be holistic artists,

       Guru Ashok Kumar has formed the Natyanjali ensemble comprising of his finest trainer dancers. With great pride and honor, the troupe presents the traditional dance compositions and well acclaimed unique ballet productions choreographer by Ashok Kumar.




Festival focused for children aged between 10 to 16 years. (One day event), Plans to be held during the second week of November. Tentitively on 2nd Saturday of November, Reason is that the Nation celebrates 14th November as the children's day.


Means inspiration. The Festival focused for youth aged between 18 to 25. (Two Day event), Plans to be held during the third week of December. Tentitively during the 3 or 4th week of December. To end the year with festive Note


Coming together. The Festival is mainly for the professional artiste. (Two Day Festival) To welcome the new year the festival will planned during the 2nd or 3rd week of January.
